Message Pictures of how you installed your amp. My amp is 2.5" tall, and he suggests securing it with plumbers tape, but that doesn't make me warm and fuzzy. I'm thinking of mounting a panel under the parallel formed bars 26" apart, but I'm unsure about clearances.

I just looked at the picture again, and now I see that I could probably drill holes for in the channel behind the gas tank, running left to right, and pick up at least two legit mounting points. On top of the tank I want to use dynamat and the OEM noise dampening material if possible, but I'm not sure if Chris' cover allows that much height stacked up.
